Mrs. Adetutu Oluremi Ososanya was born on 17thNovember 1965 in Lagos Island.

She had her Secondary School education at Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti from 1975-1980, and thereafter proceeded to Federal School of Arts and Science, Ondo from 1981-1982 for her Advance Level Studies. 

For her Tertiary Education, she obtained the Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting fromthe Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1988 after which she obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos in 1999. 

Mrs. Ososanya began her career in Public Service in the month of June 1990 as a Finance Officer with Mushin Local Government, where she also served as Secretary to the Revenue Generating Committee, and held other Treasury Posts till 1997 when she was appointed by the Lagos Local Government Commission as Area Treasurer of Ikotun Area Office in Alimosho Local Government. 

Having qualified as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN) in 1999, she was appointed Council Internal Auditor in Alimosho and Mainland Local Government respectively from October 1999 toOctober 2003.

She also got appointed as a Pioneer Council Treasurer of Itire –Ikate LCDA, where she served from 2003 -2006, till her deployment to the mainstream of the Lagos State Public Service in May 2006. 

Mrs. Adetutu Oluremi Ososanya has had a very rich Public Service experience which has taken her through the Ministries of Works and Infrastructure, Health Service Commission, and Physical Planning and Urban Development. 

Through dint of hard work, she rose to become the Deputy Director/ Head of Accounts at the Ministry of Rural development in 2008 and later served in the same capacity at the New TownsDevelopment Authority, and later, Director, Finance and Accounts at the Ministry of Home Affairs from where she was appointed Permanent Secretary.

She became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in May 2010, she has great passion for Gardening, Horticulture and the Environment. She is an avid reader, who loves Theatre and Music.  She currently serves as a Volunteer on the Board of Serendipity House, (an NGO for widows), where she is the Vice Chairman. 

She is blessed with adorable Children and a grandchild.
