Following the directive of Mr. Governor for the amendment of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Lagos State Government and Parcel B Communities to reflect the 866 Hectares in accordance with the C of O issued with respect to the resettlement land granted to the villages and communities affected by the Lekki Free Zone project in Parcel B.

Today, in the presence of the Hon. Commissioner MCIC, Dr. Mrs Lola Akande and the Permanent Secretary, MCIC, Mrs Adetutu Ososanya, representatives of Abomiti, Eyinosa and Yegunda of Parcel B were invited for the official signing of the amended Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Recall that it was observed that there was a discrepancy in the C of O earlier issued in respect to the area land size of 866 hectares (Yegunda: 298.699 Hectares, Abomiti: 278.188 Hectares and Eyin-Osa: 289.120 Hectares), which is different from the land size stated in the Memorandum of Understanding.
